Launch of Albury Botanic Gardens ClimateWatch Trail in the news!

On Wednesday 31 Aug 2016, the city of Albury launched their ClimateWatch trail in the Albury Botanic Gardens! Cr. Hank van de Ven, the mayor of Albury City, was there to personally unveil the trail markers. Armed with iPads, Albury Public School Year 6 students uploaded their observations into the ClimateWatch app to help gather valuable data about flora and fauna that are climate change indicators. Members of the general community, Wodonga Albury Towards Climate Health and Parklands Albury Wodonga also attended the launch, which was covered by Win and Prime News.

Download the Albury Botanic Gardens trail map, recording sheets and field guides here and start recording your sightings with us today! Your data will be invaluable in helping us understand how climate change is affecting our natural environment and the species that inhabit it.
