Get Involved

How you can get started

You can get involved now by registering as a ClimateWatcher – we will send you newsletters to keep you up to date with ClimateWatch reports in your state.  Once you have registered you can start submitting observations to the website.

This is the first project of its kind in the Australia and will inspire a generation of citizen scientists...That's YOU.

Also you can help by spreading the word to community groups, schools and work mates  to get involved with ClimateWatch.  Search our plant and animal indicator species to find out what you have in your state.

The information YOU collect will then be used to assist scientists, policy makers and land managers to understand and take appropriate measures to deal with climate change impacts.

Register as a ClimateWatcher

You can help scientists answer the question: "How are our plants and animals responding to climate change?" by registering to become a ClimateWatcher. Once you have registered you can start submitting your observations to the website.

Make a Recording

Have you seen the first flowers bloom, watched birds nesting or heard a frog call for the first time this year? Then record your observations and help ClimateWatch scientists better understand how climate change is effecting our plants and animals.

Send us your Photographs

When you are out looking for a plant or animal take a photo of it or take a photo of you and your ClimateWatcher friends and upload it with a description of your picture. Happy ClimateWatching!

Make a Donation

You can support ClimateWatch by making a tax deductable donation to Earthwatch Australia and make sure we can continue to investigate the effects of climate change. On the Earthwatch Australia website you can safely make a one-off or regular donation by credit card. Together we can, and will, make a difference by finding solutions, but we can’t do it without your personal financial support.
